Qualcomm rents 600,000 sq ft in Bengaluru to expand operations

Qualcomm's latest expansion in Bengaluru involves leasing over 600,000 sq ft, marking its third-largest office deal in under a year. The long-term lease, detailed in a document from Propstack, will see Qualcomm paying Rs 95 per sq ft with escalations every three years. The new office space will be located in Bagmane Capital-Angkor, a prominent technology hub in Bengaluru. Qualcomm will occupy the facility across two phases, consisting of ground plus 12 floors, for a duration of 108 months.

In late 2022, the company acquired an extensive space of over 1.8 million sq ft, spanning an entire 20-story commercial tower within the information technology park of real estate developer K Raheja Corp in Hyderabad. This marked Qualcomm's most significant office establishment outside the United States. Additionally, Qualcomm also secured 700,000 sq ft at Ramanujan IT Park in Chennai.

In India, Qualcomm maintains offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi, and operates multiple offices in Hyderabad.
