Applications have to be submitted by November 13, 2024. According to the updated schedule, applications must now be submitted by December 10, 2024, the MHADA announced in a statement.

According to an official, the updated schedule was revealed in anticipation of the November 20 Maharashtra elections.

The updated schedule states that the lottery results will be revealed on January 7, 2025, and the application deadline is December 10.

6,294 Housings in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and the districts of Solapur, Kolhapur, and Sangli will be sold by the Pune Housing and Area Development Board (a division of MHADA) as part of a number of housing initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

The prices of these houses range from Rs. 10 lakh to little over Rs. 1 crore. Of the 6,294 affordable housings in total, 418 apartments under PMAY and 2340 residences are available under the first-come, first-served plan.

In addition to Pune, the MHADA's Konkan Board is holding a lottery for 12,626 reasonably priced homes in the Rs. 20 lakh to Rs. 1 crore range in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Raigad district close to Mumbai, and Konkan belt. In addition to 12,626 affordable dwellings, the lottery is offering more than 100 plots for sale.

The MHADA also revealed the outcomes for more than 2,000 affordable homes in Mumbai in October 2024. Around May 2025, the MHADA also intends to hold a lottery for an additional 2,000 residences in Mumbai.
