Noida enrolls 1,366 flats in 1 month, All credits to Amitabh Kant committee

After implementing the suggestions of Amitabh Kant-led committee on legacy stalled projects, the GNIDA – Greater Noida Industrial development Authority has implemented registries of 1,366 flats across 16 housing projects in the month of March 2024.

The Authority stated that it also written to the developers & promoters of 28 additional projects to credit the 25 percent amount pf their total dues so that the rights of ownership around 4,500 homebuyers in projects can be shown. 

Additionally the senior officials from the Authority  says that the government of Uttar Pradesh led by Yogi Adityanath has been taking significant effort to kick-start the stalled apartments registries installed projects in Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway regions & Ghaziabad by declaring a Rehabilitation package created by the suggestions of Amitabh Kant Committee on blocked real estate projects. 

Talking to this, the senior official from the Noida Industrial development Authority states, “At present, 25 percent of the total dues of 16 projects have been deposited by the builders and the outstanding amount of about Rs. 73 crore has been received. Registry of flats in these projects has also started and till now the registration of about 1,366 flats has been completed in March 2024. For 71 out of the remaining 78 projects, the builders have assured to deposit 25 percent of the amount in April, from which approximately Rs. 715 crore will be received”.

The Greater Noida Authority navigated a way for registries over 15,000 flats in Greater Noida across 95 projects via executing the suggestions of Amitabh Kant committee on stalled projects.
