A high-end triplex apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) has been sold for Rs. 99 crore, according to property registration records accessed by Indextap.com.
The luxurious residence is located in Signature Island, a premium development by Sunteck Realty, and was purchased by Gecom International. The transaction was registered on January 10, 2025, with a stamp duty of Rs. 5.94 crore and a registration fee of Rs. 30,000.
Real estate brokers in the area noted that residential rates in BKC range between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 1 lakh per sq ft.
The triplex covers 11,295 sq ft, along with an additional area of 4,834 sq ft, and comes with 10 car parking spaces. The per sq ft price of Rs. 55,800 reflects the premium nature of the property.
BKC is recognized as one of India’s most prestigious business districts, hosting major corporate offices and key government institutions, including the Reserve Bank of India, GST department, and the US Consulate. Prominent multinational companies, such as Jio, Apple, Netflix, Google, Facebook, and Amazon, have their offices in the area.
The district’s commercial properties also command high rental rates. Brokers report that ongoing lease prices are between Rs. 500 and Rs. 550 per sq ft, with short-term leases fetching a premium. A recent five-month rental deal closed at Rs. 700 per sq ft.
Attempts to contact Sunteck Realty for comment went unanswered, and Gecom International was also unavailable for a response. The story will be updated with any additional information if they respond.
