Low-Budget flats by DDA, offers 656 flats on discounts in the vicinity of Delhi

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has come up with a new scheme in which more than 600 apartments in different categories will be offered at a discount of 15 to 25% and the registration for these flats started on March 14, 2024.

On the other hand, the authority is selling 1042 flats in HIG (higher income group) and LIG (lower income group) categories on old prices. According to the DDA Officials, the offers are the part of their ongoing Diwali Special Housing Scheme 2023, in which flats are being sold in several phases. The procedure of allocation of these flats will be decided on a first come first serve (FCFS) basis. 

A senior official of DDA informed that under the scheme flats of different categories such as LIG and MIG (middle-income group) are being offered at a discount of 15 and 25%. He said that, 2BHK and 1BHK flats which are being offered on discount are located in Narela and Ramgarh Colony near Jahangirpuri respectively.

The company is offering 15 % discount for the normal public while 25% discount on price for all government employees including central as well as state government, autonomous bodies, local bodies and PSUs along with DDA retired employees.

According to them, this initiative will clear out the inventory and boost sales of affordable and mid-segment housing.  Out of 656 flats being offered on discount, 445 are 2BHK MIG flats and 211 are 1BHK LIG apartments. The normal pricing of 2BHK flats located in Narela range between Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 1.02 crore while after discount these flats will be available in a price range of Rs. 75 lakh to Rs. 87 lakh.

Likewise, the LIG flats which range between Rs. 15.3 lakh to Rs. 16.9 lakh after discount, will be available for Rs. 13.1 lakh to Rs. 14.5 lakh. The 1042 flats of HIG segment which are available in old prices in Jasola, Rohini, Siraspur and Loknayakpuram, in which 8 HIG flats (3BHK) located in Jasola are being offered under the scheme, while rest of the  1034 flats are available in the 1BHK LIG category.
