According to records obtained by Zapkey, KKR India CEO Gaurav Trehan paid Rs. 88 crore to JSW Realty for a luxurious apartment with a view of the sea in the Morena House building on Malabar Hill, South Mumbai.
Windsor Residency Private Limited is the vendor. With a carpet space of 5381 square feet and a price per square foot of Rs. 1.63 lakh, the apartment is among the most expensive real estate deals in the nation. According to the records, the transaction was registered on October 18, 2024.
Trehan, the chief executive officer of KKR India, head of Asia Pacific Private Equity, and co-head of KKR Asia Pacific, purchased the 4947 square foot property.
It has a 434 square foot deck and an open and enclosed balcony. It is situated on the sixth level of Carmichael Road's Morena House.
According to the paperwork, the unit has four parking spots. According to real estate experts, there is one apartment on each of the building's more than 20 storeys. The monthly rental price of these residences is about Rs. 25 lakh. Another apartment in the same building sold to Marine Tower Properties LLP in March of this year for Rs. 81.71 crore, according to Zapkey.
