Jaypee's Ready-to-move Housing Project set to Kickstart its Construction Work

The NCLAT- National Company Law Apetite Tribunal had coordinated the monitoring council, which is taking care of the everyday work as of now, to file a status report & record on the tasks in Wish Town in two weeks or less. The Public Organization Regulation Redrafting Court (NCLAT) asked Mumbai-based Suraksha Group to begin construction & development work on Jaypee Infratech Limited (JIL's) delayed project, the Wish Town lodging society, a ready-to-move housing community project in area sector 128.

The order of NCLAT came after witnessing the troubles & concerns of homebuyers, via an application, pursued that since they have been hanging & waiting tight for quite a while for finishing of housing units & furthermore for the Uttar Pradesh government to settle impending issues, construction & development work should begin at the site immediately.

Afterward, Yeida – Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority sent the objective plan to the Uttar Pradesh government for an endorsement. Be that as it may, the UP government is yet to support the objective plan of Suraksha Group. In reply to the request of homebuyers, the NCLAT asked the Suraksha Group to do whatever it takes to begin the construction & development work of the project.

On this regard, Ashok Bhushan -Chairperson, Barun Mitra-Member (technical) and Arun Baroka, Member (technical) jointly says, “We make it clear that even if by the next date, no settlement is brought on record, appeal shall be proceeded to be heard on merits. We also make it clear that it shall be open for the SRA (Suraksha Group) to proceed and continue to implement the plan and the construction. We hope that by the next date, all issues between the YIEDA and SRA will be resolved”.

Similarly, Ashish Mohan Gupta, President, Jaypee Infratech Real Estate Allottees Welfare Association says, “We are suffering for more than one and a half decades. Despite the long legal battle, we still await our flats. Now construction is not being started at the site by Suraksha Group because the state government has delayed approval for the resolution plan. We hope that the government takes a decision on this before the model code of conduct kicks in for the 2024 general elections”.
