Indiana Group acquires Rs. 76 crore Luxury Property in Mumbai's Oberoi 360 West

Indiana Group, a diversified firm specializing in structural steel fabrication, has purchased a luxury apartment in Mumbai's Oberoi 360 West project for Rs. 76 crores, according to documents accessed by Zapkey.com.

The property, located on the 19th floor, features a carpet area of 5,395 sq ft with an additional 219 sq ft. The transaction, registered on December 12 by Indiana Engineering Works Pvt Ltd, reflects a per-square-foot rate exceeding Rs. 1.41 lakh.

Established in 1970 as a grating fabricator, Indiana Group has grown into a diversified business with verticals including fabricated steel structures, bridges, gratings, handrails, cable management systems, and bulk material handling systems.

Oberoi Realty’s luxury project, Oberoi 360 West, comprises two towers offering 4 BHK and 5 BHK units, duplex apartments, and penthouses. The sea-facing project, which received its occupation certificate in 2022, is believed to derive its name from its 360-metre height and westward-facing views.

While an email has been sent to Oberoi Realty for comment, Indiana Group could not be reached for a response.

In October, Shreegopal Kabra, promoter of wires and cables manufacturer RR Kabel Ltd, along with his family, purchased two apartments worth Rs. 198 crores in Mumbai's Worli area, as per property registration documents.

Oberoi Realty's Three Sixty West project in Worli has attracted several prominent buyers of sea-facing luxury apartments, including Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, D'Mart founder Radhakrishna Damani, Everest Masala Group promoter Vadilal Bhai Shah, decor brand founder Vratika Gupta, and Ashley Nagpal, promoter of Ebco Pvt Ltd, a furniture fittings and accessories firm.
