Bollywood entertainer Kartik Aaryan has leased an apartment in Mumbai for Rs.4.5 lakh each month, as per property enlistment records got to by proptech platform Square Yards.
According to the documents, the 1,912 square feet property is in the Presidency co-operative society of Juhu’s Siddhi Vinayak Building.
As per Square Yards, Aaryan had bought the private property together with mother Mala Tiwari for Rs.17.5 crore. According to the proptech platform, the deal, which includes two parking spaces for cars, attracted a stamp duty of Rs.1.05 crore and a registration fee of Rs.30, 000. The records for the property were enrolled on June 30, 2023.
According to Square Yards, Aaryan’s property has a rental yield of 3.1%.
The percentage of a property’s total value that can be derived from rental income over the course of a year is known as the rental yield. Aaryan’s real estate portfolio also includes a commercial property in addition to multiple residential units. He purchased a 2,099-square-foot office space last year for 10 crore in the renowned Signature Tower on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West, as previously reported by HT.com.
Last year, Mala Tiwari, his mother, rented an apartment with 3,681 square feet from Shahid Kapoor, an actor. The apartment had a 36-month security deposit of Rs.45 lakh and a monthly rent of Rs.7.5 lakh. The Bollywood community has long been interested in Mumbai’s property market, particularly commercial properties, as a preferred investment option.
In the previous month, Aamir Khan, the renowned Bollywood actor, has made a significant contribution to the Indian film industry through numerous films. Recently, he has acquired a new residence in the opulent neighborhood of Pali Hill in Mumbai. According to the property registration documents shared by Square Yards, Khan has purchased this esteemed property for a sum of Rs.9.75 crore.
