Hyderabad's real estate market is booming, with 2898 crore worth of properties registered in June

The residential property market in Hyderabad, India, saw a 3% year-on-year increase in property registrations in June 2023, according to a report. The total value of properties registered during the month reached Rs 2,898 crore, reflecting a 2% rise compared to the previous year. The rising popularity of Hyderabad's real estate market extends to four districts: Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, and Sangareddy, where a wide range of properties, from affordable homes to lavish apartments, are finding eager buyers.

In June 2023, the majority of property registrations in Hyderabad fell in the price range of Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh, accounting for 52% of total registrations. Properties priced below Rs 25 lakh constituted 18% of the registrations. High-value properties worth Rs 1 crore and above maintained a stable share of 9% compared to the previous year.

Properties ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 square feet dominated the market, capturing a significant 68% share of registrations in June 2023. Registrations for properties between 500 and 1,000 square feet remained consistent at 17%, while properties larger than 2,000 square feet maintained an 11% share. Medchal-Malkajgiri district emerged as the most sought-after location, accounting for 46% of total home sales registrations, followed by Rangareddy with 38% of registrations. The Hyderabad district accounted for 16% of the total registrations in June 2023.
