Housing Sales hits high: 12,400 requests gotten for 26,000 Affordable Homes in Mumbai

12,400 online applications were filed in the first 24 hours of the introduction of CIDCO's much awaited housing plan, "My Preferred CIDCO Home," showing the amazing reaction to the program. This indicates how much the public believes in CIDCO's housing projects.

At the CIDCO Exhibition Centre in On October 11, Maharashtra's Chief Minister Eknath Shinde officially introduced the program that is intended at the EWS – Economically weaker sections & LIG – Low-income groups

After the launch, there was an increase in the number of applicants on the program's dedicated website, https://cidcohomes.com, as a result of the influx of registration requests.

With 26,000 units accessible in the first phase, this massive housing project intends to offer a total of 67,000 homes across several Navi Mumbai nodes. These residences are positioned in line with CIDCO's transit-oriented development policy by being situated close to bus stops, metro stations, and train stations. The apartment buildings will include state-of-the-art building methods, extensive infrastructure, and all the necessary social facilities.

According to the list issued by CIDCO, the affordable homes are located in areas like Ulwe, Panvel, Khandeshwar, Kharghar, Taloja, Vashi, Mansarovar among others.

In an official statement, CIDCO says, “The projects under CIDCO lottery are based on a transit-oriented development strategy, ensuring that all homes are located near railway stations, bus stops, and metro stations in their respective nodes. Additionally, the housing complexes built under this scheme using cutting-edge construction techniques, are equipped with comprehensive infrastructure and social amenities”.
