EX-Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan buys luxury Home in Mumbai for Rs. 11 crore

According to property registration paperwork that SquareYards was able to get, former Indian cricket player Zaheer Khan and his family paid Rs. 11 crores for a luxurious apartment in the Elphinstone Road neighborhood of Mumbai.

Indiabulls Sky's ready-to-move-in apartment is 2,158 square feet (carpet space). The documentation state that there are three parking spots included with the unit.

According to the paperwork, Zaheer Khan, his wife Sagarika Ghatge, and brother-in-law Shivjeet Ghatge paid Rs. 30,000 in registration fees and Rs. 66 lakh in stamp duty to buy the property.

February 10, 2025, was the date the transaction was registered. Between February 2024 and January 2025, two transactions with a gross transaction value of Rs. 23 crore were filed with IGR in Indiabulls Sky, per SquareYards' Project Data Intelligence. As of right now, the project's average resale property price is Rs. 49,096 per square foot.

Equinox India Developments Limited is the developer of Indiabulls Sky. The project, which spans three acres, has ready-to-move-in three, four, five, and six-bedroom units, according to RERA.

Listed real estate developer Indiabulls Real Estate Limited, which rebranded as Equinox India Developments Limited in June 2024, built the project.

According to documents obtained by Zapkey.com, Surinder Chawla, the Former Managing Director of Paytm Payments Bank, paid Rs. 20 crore for a duplex apartment in the luxury tower that measured 2,516 square feet (sq ft) in carpet area in October 2023, making the similar building known as Indiabulls Sky Forest newsworthy.
