Endurance Technologies MD Jain acquires Luxury Bungalow in Delhi for Rs. 130 crore

For Rs. 130 crore, Anurang Jain, managing director of Endurance Technologies, purchased a spacious 1,350 square yard bungalow on Kautilya Marg in New Delhi.

One of the biggest producers of automotive parts in India is Endurance Technologies. The transaction, which is among the most expensive in New Delhi, cost the Jain Rs. 8.32 crore in stamp duty, according to documents obtained through real estate data analytics company CRE Matrix.

In one of the most expensive apartment purchases in the nation, Info-x Software Technology recently paid Rs. 190 crores for a 16,000 square foot penthouse at DLF The Camellias in Gurugram through its director Rishi Parti.

"Pure real estate in New Delhi is still in high demand, and buyers are prepared to wait while there is a gap between supply and demand. Many more bungalow transactions at comparable prices are almost completed," according to Pradeep Prajapati, founder of Wealthvisory Capital, a boutique real estate consulting firm.

As business owners and C-suite professionals continued to invest in real estate, up to 58 ultra-luxury homes (priced at Rs. 40 crore and above) were sold in Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad in 2023. This represents a nearly four-and-a-half-fold increase over the 13 high-value transactions that occurred in the previous year.

The increase in sales of ultra-luxury real estate in India is indicative of the rising demand for premium properties among the country's wealthy consumers. As status and stability markers, high net worth individuals—such as business magnates and senior executives—are investing more and more in upscale homes.
