Dream11's CEO Harsh Jain Purchases Apartment in Malabar Hill for Rs. 138 Crore

Harsh Anand Jain, Co-Founder & CEO of fantasy sports platform Dream11, has acquired a luxury sea-view apartment in South Mumbai’s prestigious Malabar Hill area for over Rs. 138.41 crore. The apartment, covering a carpet area of 9,546 sq ft, is valued at Rs. 1.45 lakh per sq ft, making it one of the country’s most expensive real estate deals based on the per sq ft price.

Jain purchased the property, located on the 23rd habitable floor of the high-end Lodha Malabar tower on Walkeshwar Road, from the real estate developer Macrotech Developers, a subsidiary of the Lodha Group.

The transaction, registered on January 9, 2025, involved a stamp duty payment exceeding Rs. 8.30 crore. The deal also grants Jain exclusive access to six car parking spaces in the building.

This luxury acquisition is one of the most expensive residential deals in India, though it does not surpass Rs. 369 crore transactions made by the family of industrialist JP Taparia in 2023 for a sea-view triplex apartment in the same tower.

The property market in Mumbai, particularly in South and Central Mumbai, has been seeing record sales in 2024, driven by strong demand across mid-income, premium, and luxury segments.

Mumbai continues to lead the country as the most expensive property market, with numerous high-profile transactions in recent years involving industrialists, top corporate executives, actors, and sports figures. This growing demand has led to an all-time high in residential property sales.
