Builders And Construction Leaders Are Heading Over Their Heels After The New Rule Of Ahmedabad Government Regarding Property Registration Issue

Government of Ahmedabad has made a robust rule for all the construction leaders for making the registration at the earliest, or else the government will knock down their buildings in no time. As per the rule government of Ahmedabad started its work. It seems that the general public of the state hasn’t listened to government’s order with all their ears opened that is the reason of their poor response to this vital government regulation. Keeping the poor response in mind, the municipal Chief head M Thennarasan has ordered to make a list of unauthorized buildings and after that the officials have collected the name and location of the five largest unlawful construction in their zone and ordered to demolish them within a week. According to the report 35000 applications were received by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation by 5^th May and more numbers are expected to come.

The government has circulated the rule on October 17, and allowed the construction leaders and real estate dealers to register their lands and buildings under the government rule within four months till February this year and then extended the duration for further four months till June.

AMC has already checked 10,000 applications and approved 656 residential properties and buildings, on the other hand the applications regarding commercial building regularization are not being processed because builders have 50% of the requisite parking area with the buildings.

Citizens are keeping themselves away from this registration process being afraid of getting rejected by the government and after that their construction will be destroyed. According to the report, the government is charging few fees and betterment charges which the people think of no use.

After getting irritated and disgusted by the poor public response AMC has decided and get into their work of demolishing the illegal buildings around the seven zones under Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and the officials have prepared a list of 35 buildings so far as unregistered buildings.
