Big B of Bollywood buys three Mumbai Andheri's Commercial Properties worth Rs.60 crore.

Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has acquired an additional three commercial properties in Mumbai's Andheri West, with a combined carpet area of 8,429 square feet, for approximately Rs.60 crore, according to property registration documents obtained by FloorTap.com.

The four units which were acquired by him spread across 8,396 square feet in the same building last year for nearly Rs.29 crore. He paid a hefty stamp duty of Rs.1.72 crore on the purchase, which was registered on September 1, 2023. The whole transaction of the deal was registered on June 20, 2024, the documents showed. 

Through the realty deal Amitabh Bachhan bought three office units in Signature Building on Veera Desai Road of Andheri West, Mumbai, which comes with three car parking slots.

In the big ticket realty deal the seller was Veer Savarkar Projects Private Limited, and a stamp duty of Rs.3.57 crore was paid on the purchase by Senior Bachchan.

Among the notable Bollywood celebrities who possess units in the commercial tower are Ajay Devgn, Sara Ali Khan with her mother Amrita Singh, Kartik Aaryan, and Manoj Bajpayee.

In October 2023, Manoj Bajpayee and his wife Shabana Raza invested Rs.31 crore in four units within the Signature Building. According to property registration documents, each unit was acquired for Rs.7.77 crore, with a stamp duty of Rs.46.62 lakh.

Kartik and Sarah will also be his neighbor as they own one unit each spanning 2,099 square feet. Sarah Ali and Amrita Singh paid Rs.9 crore for their unit in July 2023, while, Kartik Aaryan who acquired his property in September 2023 paid Rs.10 crore. In both the cases, the seller were Aishwarya Property and Estates Private Limited.

Reportedly, Ajay Devgan has acquired total of 5 units in the building acquired in April 2023, for a combined price of Rs.45.09 crore.  Last week in a big ticket realty deal junior Big B purchased 6 luxurious buildings in Andheri worth Rs.15.42 crore.
