Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan owns several residential and commercial properties. He recently made headlines when he sold his opulent duplex apartment in Mumbai's Andheri neighborhood for Rs. 83 crore, nearly 168% more than what he originally paid for it.
As per SquareYards' access to data, he and his son Abhishek Bachchan have purchased properties totaling more than Rs. 100 crore and 27,000 square feet in the past year.
The Shehenshah of Bollywood recently completed a transaction registered in January 2025, representing a sizable capital gain because he had originally paid Rs. 31 crore in April 2021 for the property.
A registration fee of Rs. 30,000 and stamp duty of Rs. 4.98 crore were paid for the property. According to the documents, the apartment is situated in The Atlantis building and spans 5,185 square feet of RERA carpet.

According to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com, Abhishek Bachchan made headlines in June 2024 when he bought six apartments for Rs. 15.42 crore in the Oberoi Sky City project by Oberoi Realty in the Borivali area of Mumbai. The Bollywood actor paid Rs. 31,498 per square foot for a total of 4,894 square feet of RERA carpet, according to the records.
