Andhra's Greenfield Capital City Construction set to begin within the Next 45 Days

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that during the next forty-five days, the groundwork for investments totaling one lakh crore rupees would be laid in the greenfield capital city of Amaravati.

Naidu said he would extend an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to revive Amaravati's development and infrastructure initiatives.

The chief minister claims that delayed building projects and road construction projects totaling Rs. 40,000 crore are already under way. He wants Amaravati to run totally on renewable energy in the future.

Naidu said he will invite leading institutions, federal government agencies, and commercial organizations to open headquarters in Amaravati, promising "world-class development" in the future capital.

When discussing population issues, the chief minister noted that although he had previously supported population control, he emphasized that a new approach is now necessary due to demographic shifts.

He promoted a more balanced approach, emphasizing that larger families support economic growth and workforce sustainability in light of the issues posed by an aging population on a global scale. Naidu asserted that the only way to guarantee future existence is to have more children.

The population of North India is constant at the moment, he said, but it is "declining" in South India. He did point out that this benefit will only last for another 20 years.

He cited the growing need for Indian workers in nations like Germany and Japan, which are grappling with an aging population.

"Very soon, I will invite the prime minister to relaunch infrastructure and development programmes. In about one to one and a half months, we plan to lay the foundation for Rs. 1 lakh crore worth of investments, which will be completed within three years," Naidu addressed.
