Adani Offers Highest Carpet Area for DRPPL Project

DRPPL (Dharavi Redevelopment Project Limited), a collaborative network between the Maharashtra Government and Adani Group announces that the eligible homebuyers in Dharavi will get residential flats with autonomous kitchens & toilets measuring a minimum of 350 sq ft under the slum redevelopment projects in Mumbai. The eligible home buyers refer to those residents who were in existence before January 01, 2000.

Speaking on to this, the spoke person of DRPPL says, “The new flats will be dream homes for all Dharavikars and will upgrade their living conditions. Every home will reflect the spirit of a Dharavikar, whose aspirations have always mirrored those of a common Mumbaikar. We, at DRPPL, are committed to fulfilling these dreams and aspirations while keeping the very soul of Dharavi intact”.

Also he added that each flat falls under the project will have a separate kitchen & an in-built independent toilet, and will be well-furnished, aerated & hygienic without compromising the safety & security.

The officials Dharavi Redevelopment Project says that as per the Government of Maharashtra’s defined norms, the Ineligible homebuyers in Dharavi would be given housing facilities under the policy of proposed affordable rental housing.

Previously, residents of informal settlements in Maharashtra were given houses that measures 269 sq ft. From the time of 2018, the state government started grants them homes that measures between 315 sq ft and 322 sq ft aligns with the minimum area permitted under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) - Houses for the Urban Poor.
