Actor Anupam Kher purchases commercial space worth Rs.3.88 crore in Mumbai

Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher has acquired a commercial office space in Andheri near Mumbai for Rs.3.88 crore. According to the documents accessed by FloorTap.com showed that, the building is spanning across an area of 887 sq ft RERA carpet and located on the 24th floor of the tower known as Parinee 1.

The deal was finalized on September 3 followed by a stamp duty of Rs.23.3 lakh was paid for by the Bollywood actor. The unit comes with 1 car park.

According to property registration documents obtained by Propstack, Kangana Ranaut, who is a Bollywood actor and BJP MP, has acquired office space in Mumbai's Andheri region for Rs.1.56 crore. The 407 sq ft property is situated on the 19th floor of Arch One building and was purchased at Rs.38,391 per sq ft rate on carpet area as mentioned in the aforementioned documents.

High rental yields have caused Karishma Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan to invest in commercial properties which often provide a greater ROI compared to residential properties. Propstack's documents revealed that last year, Babita, Kareena and Karishma leased out their showroom space to a jewellery brand for Rs.6 lakh per month with the lease set at 49 months duration while Ajay Devgn secured an office space situated in Andheri West Mumbai under five years' worth of monthly rent amounting up to Rs.9 lakh as shown by Propstack's records.

Last year, Amitabh Bachchan acquired four commercial units in Oshiwara for approximately Rs.7 crore each. Additionally, he rented out the properties and received an annual sum of Rs.2.07 crore. Other actors such as Kartik Aryan, Manoj Bajpayee, Sarah Ali Khan along with Kajol (Bachchan's wife) have also purchased office spaces at Lotus Signature tower located in Andheri West last year. As per documents shared by Propstack earlier this April shows that Sonu Nigam had bought two commercial properties spanning across 5547 sq ft area valued at Rs.11.37 crore found within Andheri location too
