Man Infraconstruction Limited (MICL), a publicly traded real estate developer, intends to start an ultra-luxurious project in Mumbai's Pali Hill neighborhood of Bandra during the first quarter of the upcoming fiscal year. Bollywood star Aamir Khan owns a few homes in the Virgo Cooperative Housing Society, which is being redeveloped as part of the project's launch.
In December 2023, the business announced that MICL would redevelop the project through one of its affiliated companies, in which it owns a 34 percent ownership.
Along with other tenants, Aamir Khan, who already owns a few flats in the building, will be eligible for an apartment in the rehab portion of the refurbished project.
Khan had spent more than Rs. 9 crore on a 1,027 square foot apartment in the same neighborhood of Bandra's Pali Hill. According to records obtained by Square Yards, the transfer deed, which was completed in June 2025, came with a registration cost of Rs. 30,000 and stamp duty of Rs. 58.5 lakh.
In its Q2FY25 investor presentation, the company stated that a 34% stake in the residential redevelopment project is being carried out under the joint venture (JV) format. The project will potentially contain 50,000 square feet of RERA carpet and a sales potential of Rs. 500 crore, the business has claimed.
"The project is currently under approvals, and we are aiming to launch the project in the first quarter of FY26”, says Manan Shah, Managing Director of MICL.
“The sale component of the redevelopment project will have 4 and 5 BHK sea-view apartments in the uber luxury segment”, he added.
