2,300 Delhi Development Authority Flats Sold in 100 Days

Approximately 100 days after initiating its housing scheme, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has successfully sold nearly 2,300 flats. This scheme, which began on June 30th this year, offered 5,600 flats in one, two, and three BHK configurations in various areas, including Jasola, Rohini, Dwarka, Lok Nayak Puram, Narela, and Siraspur. Notably, the 2BHK units in Dwarka, priced between Rs 1 crore and Rs 1.2 crore, were quickly sold out. Delhi Development Authority officials attributed the increased sales to the introduction of measures such as the option to combine two flats (jodi flats) and allowing prospective buyers to visit the flats before making a purchase.

The Delhi Development Authority possesses approximately 40,000 flats situated in various areas across the city, such as Narela, Jasola, Rohini, Dwarka, and Siraspur.

A Delhi Development Authority representative mentioned that out of the nearly 2,300 flats that were sold, 800 were in the EWS category (economically weaker section) in Narela. The anonymous official stated, "This is a positive development. There is a growing interest in EWS flats, indicating a noticeable trend in the market".
