Now, as the demand of EV continues to rise, people are searching homes on the basis of EV charging points. Most of the youth are inclined to EV because of its sustainable benefits as well as tax benefits. Meanwhile, builders also can grab tax benefits from the Govt for installing EV chargers. According to the report of research firm Canalys, while EVs accounted for just 2.4% of India's vehicle sales in the first half of this year, EV sales grew 137% to 48,000 units during the same period.
